Auditions
We are currently accepting audition submissions for our next set, which starts February 2026. The virtual audition deadline is January 26, 2026. However, if you attend our “Sing and Vibe” event on January 25, this qualifies as a first round audition.

WHEN
Fog City Harmonia opens up auditions for new members several times a year at the beginning of each seasonal concert set. We are currently accepting new auditions for the Spring 2026 set. General rehearsal times are Mondays from 7-9:30 PM at the Kanbar Performing Arts Center in San Francisco.
The submission deadline to be considered for this set is Monday, January 26, 2026. Alternatively, auditionees are encouraged to attend our Sing and Vibe event on January 25, which qualifies as a first round audition.
WHAT
TECHNIQUE AND FUNDAMENTALS
As in most singing auditions, we evaluate prospective voices based on tonal exercises that test range, tone, and pitch.
SINGING IN HARMONY
We also evaluate your ability to sing the complex harmonic lines involved in barbershop harmony singing in a second round audition.
HARMONIA CULTURE
While your singing skills are important, we also take the time to learn more about you as a human being. We want to ensure all prospective members are aligned with Harmonia’s mission and culture!
